Regarding the question on the use of bromelain for viscous semen: Most of
the references for the use of bromelain are in studies with immunobeads (see
pg 181 of 'Handbook of the Laboratory Diagnosis and Treatment of
Infertility', CRC Press).

Another enzyme often used for viscous semen is chymotrypsin ('The use of
chymotrypsin/galactose to treat spermatozoa bound with anti-sperm antibodies
prior to intra-uterine insemination', Bollendorf A, Check JH, Katsoff D,
Fedele A, Hum Reprod. 1994 Mar;9(3):484-8)
