TRAINING IN GENERAL EMBRYOLOGY
COURSE CONTENT: Get up-to-date with the latest ART techniques applied in a
clinical setting. This two-day course offers the participant an opportunity
to experience the functioning of a leading, state-of-the-art laboratory.
The fundamental principles necessary to ensure optimal embryo culture will
be revealed. Topics covered will include embryo culture to the blastocyst
stage of development, manual handling techniques, embryo cryopreservation
and implementation of a quality assurance program. This course is suited
to those with some previous embryology experience who wish to consolidate
and update their skills.
DURATION : 2 days
DATES : Thursday 6th and Friday 7th May, 1999 or
Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th May, 1999

AN INTRODUCTION TO INTRACYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION
COURSE CONTENT: This course offers the participant an opportunity to share
the skills gained from almost 10 years of micromanipulation experience as a
clinical procedure in our unit. The training course is a two-day intensive
hands-on course. Participants will be supplied with comprehensive training
notes and given individual tuition in a goal-based modular training program.
At the completion of the course the participant will have a solid grounding
in the fundamental skills of micromanipulation and be able to perfect the
technique unsupervised.
DURATION : 2 days
