"Challenges and Strategies in Assisted Reproductive Technology: An ART
Workshop"
February 21-27, 1999 in Cozumel, Mexico
Deadline for Registration (December 15, 1998)
The program will consist of four, half-day sessions on various topics of
ART including; the role of the ART laboratory and clinic in the diagnosis
and treatment of male and female infertility, ART laboratory QC, QA and
troubleshooting, and new and improved methods of embryo culture.
Emphasis will be placed on current and future challenges that face
ARTologists and the faculty will debate strategies for dealing with these
challenges. A Special Topics Section will allow the individual
participants to bring their own topics up for discussion by the entire
group. Ample opportunity for discussion will be available and a true
workshop environment will be maintained with in depth interaction between
the faculty and all participants This program has applied to the American
Board of Bioanalysis for 1.6 CEU (16 contact hours). Extracurricular
activities will take advantage of Cozumel's blue sky, white sand beaches
and over 100 feet underwater visibility. Although activities are being
planned around scuba diving and snorkeling, activities for the entire
family are abundant which makes this meeting a very special combination of
business and pleasure.
The deadline for registration for the ART Workshop is next week. We
cannot guarantee the cheaper hotel and air costs after that date.
