Androlog Mail:

In answer to Joseph Damico's question about products replacing Percoll We
have been using PureSperm. We compared several times, PureSperm, Isolate
and Percoll, and found PureSperm to provide a better recovery and motility.
I would also refer you to a paper that I published in Fertility and
Sterility, December, 1998, comparing PureSperm and Percoll. All of the
products replacing the Percoll are very expensive. I wish someone would
come up with a less expensive alternative. We have decided to use washing-
centrifugation for certain specimens (good motility, no cells or debris), so
as to cut our usage and costs.
