I have a USDA-funded position available for a postdoctoral research
associate, postgraduate veterinarian, or sabbatic leave person. This
position is a one- or two-year research fellowship in equine sperm biology
in the Department of Clinical Studies, New Bolton Center, focusing on sperm
cell function in stallion spermatozoa. The project will center on equine
sperm membrane function during cooling and cryopreservation and will be
located in the newly-developed Center for Animal Transgenesis and Germ Cell
Research at New Bolton Center. Research in the laboratory focuses on sperm
capacitation and hyaluronidase/PH-20 function in stallion and boar sperm.
The Center houses four new laboratories and support units which are under
the direction of faculty members in the Departments of Clinical Studies and
