FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN JAPAN
For Senior Level and Postdoctoral Investigators

Through arrangements made with the Fogarty International Center (FIC) of the
NIH the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) will award
fellowships for American researchers in the biomedical and behavioral
sciences to pursue collaborative research in Japan. Long- and short-term
fellowships are available. The Short-Term Fellowship for Biomedical and
Behavioral Research funds trips to Japan ranging from 7 to 60 days and the
Short-Term Postdoctoral Fellowship for Biomedical and Behavioral Research
funds trips ranging from 3 to 11 months. Applications must be received by
January 15, 1999.
