Pesticide and antiandrogenic metabolites

Androlog Mail:

On these Androlog pages there were some questions related to the molecular
link of pesticides to infertility of the exposed farmer -- so that he could
be properly treated. We have similar but more general concerns here in
Central New York because of our vast agricultural commitments of the land.
Farmers coming here for infertility treatment may have used a number of
different pesticides. The EPA has plans to evaluate some 87,000 chemicals
for their potential to disrupt hormones in human and wildlife, screening
through eight preliminary assays to pin down their probable endocrinal
"connection".
