Spring Meeting
Sheffield 15-17th April 1998
On behalf of the organising committee, I am pleased to announce details of
the above meeting to be held at the University of Sheffield.
This interdisciplinary meeting will cover issues from reproductive medicine
and biology and will be relevant to clinicians, embryologists, scientists,
nurses ands counselors.
Highlights of the conference include:
on Wednesday 15 April 1998 sessions on:

Immature Sperm: Clinical and Ethical Aspects
Immature Oocytes: Clinical and Ethical Aspects
Current debates on Infertility Counseling
The progressive role of the nurse in assisted conception
on Thursday 16 April 1998 sessions on:
ICSI: Implications for the future
The year 2010: Implications for the family
The year 2010: Concerns and Consequences
on Friday 17th April 1998 sessions on
Development: from egg to organisation
Welfare of the Child: Is Assessment Necessary?
There will also be medical and scientific, scientific and nursing free
communication sessions. In addition to the scientific sessions there will
be a social programme and a trade exhibition with representatives from
Pharmaceutical, diagnostic and equipment companies.
The Scientific Committee of the Society will be inviting oral
communications and posters
on the above and related themes.
